Just the thought of taking anything in my head and putting it in visual form is exciting.

My animation skills are improving slowly but surely

Posted by Xcyper33 - February 9th, 2011

Since my 1st drawn animation, my fbf skills have increased dramatically. Still though, I have a lot to improve on and I'm going to research on designing a new animation skeleton thats more efficient than the one I use now. Take a peak at this quick sketch animation: http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/85 a17960c6d5fcbde4ea21232a13b55e

It is fun to see how other people animate. I have to say I never really thought about animating skeletons before in fbf. Your quick sketch is pretty good but the arm lengths are off and I personally don't like straight lines. One day when I was bored and wandering around on youtube I saw a video with a skeleton you may or may not find it useful for your research of a more efficient skeleton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBq7rt nES0A

Thanks for the link! I watched the entire video, his methods are...confusing to me. He draws a line and then a V and...? huh? With that said, I'm going to go into PS right now and try to mimick his style.
